Selecta Bio: Sr. Scientist/ Sr. Engineer – Formulation Development
Duties and Responsibilities
This
position will be responsible for developing the self assembling
nano-particle technology at Selecta. Working with the chemistry and
biology teams design and execute experiments to produce nano-particles
with the desired surface properties in a scalable, reproducible and
reliable process. The successful candidate also needs to be familiar
with appropriate analytical techniques to characterize the
nano-particles. This position will require hands on work in setting up
and executing experiments in the lab and it is expected that the
successful candidate will be able to build and lead a highly functional
and talented team. The successful candidate will also be able to work
with people with diverse backgrounds and abilities for the purpose of
solving complex chemical and biological problems for the development of
pharmaceutical products. Excellent written and oral communication
skills are required as is the demonstrated ability to lead cross
functional teams.
Education Requirements
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related discipline.
Experience
Minimum
of 5 years experience in a related field. Experience in process
development for polymeric and/or particulate systems considered a plus.
Title and compensation will be commensurate with education and
experience.
