BIND is currently seeking a Scientist/Engineer in Platform Development to synthesize and fabricate targeted nanoparticle formulations using a novel high throughput process. This position will interact with analytical and synthetic chemists, process development engineers, and biologists to create and characterize the formulations.

Background
BS or MS in biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering or related field with relevant research and industrial experience.

Desired experience/expertise
• Polymer chemistry, processing, or characterization
• Drug delivery including drug elution and stability studies
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry

Responsibilities
• Fabricate nanoparticles using an established high throughput process
• Develop methods to rapidly characterize nanoparticles
• Use combinatorial approaches to create screening library of nanoparticle formulations
• Organize, evaluate, and present data in an effective and scientific manner.
